On the morning of 01 August 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led the Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia on a field visit to inspect the areas affected by the recent armed clashes between Cambodia and Thailand over border disputes in Oddar Meanchey Province. During the visit, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also took the opportunity to visit displaced persons in the province.

In the meantime, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister paid a visit to the frontline Cambodian troops stationed at the conflict zone, offering words of encouragement and distributing humanitarian supplies in recognition of their courage and commitment.

His Excellency underscored that the Royal Government of Cambodia remains firmly committed to the ceasefire and strictly adheres to the principles of international law, the peaceful resolution of disputes, and the unwavering protection of its’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, at all costs.
